Bro Statch helps you become a better partner by using AI to suggest small, meaningful actions
based on what you know about the person you're with. Here's exactly what data we collect,
why, and how you can delete it.
What we collect
- Your account info — email address and display name (from email/password, Google, or Apple sign-in).
- Your partner's profile — information you type in yourself: their nickname, what they like and dislike, communication style, love languages, and any other details you share. We never contact your partner or pull data from their accounts.
- Your signal history — the AI missions we generate for you and the reactions you log after completing them (emoji + optional note).
- Crash and diagnostic data — if the app crashes or hits an error, we receive the technical error details, your device model, operating system and app version, and which screen you were on. This never includes your partner's profile, your notes, or any mission text.
- Basic usage data — app opens, which screens you visit, and a small set of milestone events: completing sign-up, finishing onboarding, generating a mission, and logging a reaction. For missions we record only the category (for example "gift" or "text") and whether the reaction was positive or negative — never the mission wording, your partner's details, or your notes.
- Install attribution — if you installed Bro Statch after seeing one of our ads, we receive an anonymous signal telling us the ad worked. On Android this uses your device's advertising ID. On iPhone we use Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork and never ask to track you across other apps.
We collect nothing else — no location, no contacts, no payment info, no microphone or camera access, and no reading of your messages or social accounts.
Why we collect it
- Your partner's profile is sent to an AI service to generate a personalized mission. Without it, we can't tailor suggestions to your relationship.
- Reaction history helps the app learn what works for your partner so future suggestions get more accurate over time.
- Your display name personalizes your account inside the app. It is never shown to your partner or anyone else.
- Crash and diagnostic data tells us when the app breaks so we can fix it. Without it, a bug that only affects some devices can go unnoticed for months.
- Usage data tells us which parts of the app people actually reach — for example, how many people finish onboarding — so we know what to improve.
- Install attribution tells us whether our advertising is working, so we don't waste money on ads that don't reach the right people.
Who sees your data
Your account details, your partner's profile and your signal history are stored in
Google Firebase (Firestore) and are only accessible to your own account.
No other Bro Statch user can see them. When you spin a mission, your partner's profile is
processed by Base44, our AI provider, solely to generate that one response.
We do not permit Base44 to use your data for any other purpose.
Two further services receive the technical data described above — and only that data:
- Google (Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics) receives the crash, diagnostic and usage data. It never receives your partner's profile, your notes, or any mission text.
- Meta (Facebook) receives the install-attribution signal only, so we can tell whether an ad led to an install. It receives nothing about you, your partner, or anything you do inside the app.
We never sell your data, and we never send your partner's profile or your notes to any
advertising or analytics service. We don't show ads inside the app. Beyond the three
companies named above — Google, Base44 and Meta — we don't share your data with anyone.
Deleting your data
In the app, tap your avatar (top-right) → Delete Account. This permanently removes
everything — your account, partner profiles, and all signal history — immediately and irreversibly.
You can also email contact@khenitech.com and we'll do it
manually within 48 hours. Full instructions: bro-statch.web.app/delete-account.
Crash and usage data is the one exception. It is tagged with your account ID and held by Google
on our behalf, so it sits outside the database the in-app delete clears and is not removed
instantly. It expires automatically on Google's retention schedule, and you can ask us to purge
it sooner by emailing contact@khenitech.com. It never
contained your partner's profile, your notes or any mission text in the first place.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account,
all data is permanently removed immediately. We do not retain backups of deleted accounts.
Age requirement
Bro Statch is for users 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
